Wir erinnern uns immernoch seeeehr sehr gerne an unser Lieblingscafé in Funchal, in dem wir letztes Jahr im März so unglaublich herzlich bewirtet wurden. Die Inhaber haben ein riesiges Herz für Kinder und sind auch generell sehr sehr herzlich. Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati per un bruch. Abbiamo preso due french toast da condividere, uno dolce e uno salato e quello che possiamo dire è che erano semplicemente deliziosi, così some lo smoothie. Personale gentilissimo e carino, ci hanno anche offerto due pastel de nata. Prezzo super giusto, ci ritorneremo sicuro in questo nostro soggiorno a madeira. Consigliatissimo! 🥰 ~ Margherita M

Dies ist ein hübsches kleines, familiengeführtes Café abseits der Touristenmeile. Ein kleiner "Geheimtipp". Leckere Kaffeevariationen, frischegepresste Säfte und das Frühstück wurde individuell und mit Liebe frisch zubereitet. Alles zu sehr vernünftigen Preisen. Der Service ist freundlich und einladend, wir waren als Gruppe mit 6 Personen sofort Willkommen. Der Besuch hat sich mehr wie gelohnt. ~ Melanie W

Die Bedienung war überragend, sehr netter Herr, der mit uns gequatscht hat und uns gut beraten hat. Das Essen war ziemlich lecker, ein kleiner Punktabzug wegen der moderaten Portionsgröße. Ich kann aber das Prosciutto Sandwich und das French Toast mit Lachs sehr empfehlen. Am Ende haben wir auch Pastel de Nata bekommen. Sehr lecker, kann ich empfehlen! ~ Lev

Excellent endroit que ce soit pour la cuisine, l'ambiance intimiste. On s'est régalé avec la salade de burrata et le toast œuf bacon avocat. Tous les produits sont de très bonne qualité. C'est vraiment très appréciable. On a pas eu la place pour le dessert. Dommage parce que ça faisait bien envie. On a eu également la surprise des pastéis de nata offert en fin de repas. Cuisine délicieuse, les produits sont frais et de qualité. Le serveur est adorable au et au petit soin, il est là au bon moment sans trop en faire. La petite musique en fond met de bonne humeur. Ma copine et moi-même avons passé un excellent voyage culinaire, un moment hors du temps. Les avis Google et la très bonne note de Google nous ont conduit ds ce petit resto... Notre maîtrise du portugais et de l anglais nous ont mené à choisir un repas sur photo .... quelle bonne idée !!! Nous y sommes retournes et y retournerons probablement.... le prix est plus qu abordable par rapport à la qualité ! Le personnel est de surcroît très sympathique ! ~ Berangere A

Niedliches Brunch-Lokal abseits vom Massentourismus. Persönliche Empfehlung sind die French Toasts und die Pastei de Nata vorm Verlassen des Lokals. Macht für Mitteleuropäer erst relativ spät auf (0930, durch die Zeitverschiebung aber gefühlt viel später), der Geschmack und der Service entlohnen dafür aber um ein Vielfaches. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein absolut wundervolles Lokal! Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Die Bedienung war unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und dabei nie aufdringlich – einfach perfekt. Das Essen war ein echtes Highlight: frisch, voller Geschmack und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Sehr niedliches kleines Brunch-Café, Platz für maximal 18 Personen, also gemütlich. Der Besitzer super nett, zuvorkommend, gastfreundlich. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Das Essen ist großartig und mit Liebe zubereitet. Dazu ein Kaffee und ein Saft des Tages - wir hatten Ananas/ Mango/ Ingwer. Absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. ~ Trixi

We went for an early brunch right when they opened and were welcomed and seated right away. After asking the server about gluten and vegetarian options, the chef came out to give options and made a special dish. We got the bacon egg French toast and salmon egg French toast. The portion was very large (which is good because it was on the more expensive side). Our server/owner was very kind and even gave us complementary traditional Madeira pastry to finish (his grandmother’s recipe). It is very small (only about 4-5 inside tables) so I recommend going early if you can. Well worth the visit - great food to enjoy and fill you up before a day exploring. ~ Murphy S

Très belle découverte! Nous avons très bien mangé (wrap et salade burrata), c’est super bon, bien présenté, les portions sont généreuses, un plaisir ! Super jus frais du jour! Ein absoluter Volltreffer! Der French Toast war der Wahnsinn, die Säfte unglaublich gut und die Pasteis de Nata einfach zum Reinlegen. Was diesen Ort aber so besonders macht, sind die beiden herzlichen Personen: Patricio und seine charismatische Frau in der Küche. Beide einfach nur top! Nejlepsi vec, ktera se nam na Madeire asi stala bylo najit tuto restauraci! Obecne jsme nikde nebyli jidlem nijak ohromeni, ale do Guto jsme museli jet jeste dalsi den znovu pred odletem. Burgr Guto je tak chutove vyladeny, ze jsem nikdy lepsi asi nejedl. Dostali jsme cupcake jako bonus k navsteve, coz jen potvrdilo, ze kdo jedete na Madeiru a minete Guto, tak musite prijet znovu a napravit to. Dekujeme! ~ Tomas H

Très joli petit restaurant, calme et dans lequel règne une ambiance très accueillante. Le repas était excellent, très savoureux avec des produits frais et une belle présentation, le tout pour un prix très bas. Le personnel était très sympathique. Je recommande vivement. Je recommande à 100% ce lieu pour vous restaurer. Très bon accueil. Des plats de type snack (wrap, Burger, bruschetta,…) cuisinés maison avec des produits de qualité. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat eine angenehme Auswahl. Es ist jetzt kein 4 gänge Menü aber man wird von einer Portion zufrieden satt. Sowohl das french Toast als auch die Sandwiches sind ein vollwertiges Frühstück. Die süssen sachen sind nicht so ganz sättigen aber ein gutes dessert zum teilen. ~ Vladi G

Wow what to say. From the minute you walk in the door at Guto you are treated as if you are part of the family. The food is not just food, it’s artwork. The owners are a dynamic pairing - the wife who is creating mastery in the kitchen and the husband who is working the front of house. We ordered takeaway for our hikes and they made recommendations based on what would keep well for the day etc. They also gave us some pastel de nata on the house. Charming, charismatic, delicious food. Will be returning. He also gave us recommendations for places to go on our hikes and things to see and do. What a place. ~ Vic M

Rien a redire c'est une super adresse ! Si vous voulez avoir la certitude de bien manger, d'être servis rapidement, avec le sourire et dans une bonne ambiance c'est l'endroit idéal ! Had a great brunch today, the place was very busy, but we managed to get the last table available, and being told processing of our order might take approx. 20mins, we took our chance. Great service, with honest recommendations and flexible adaptability for special orders. The waiting time was reasonable, and the size of menu is honestly very impressive regarding the size of the kitchen. We tried a wide variety of dishes, including pancakes (very filling!!!) and French Toast (one with fruit, one with eggs and bacon). We greatly recommend this place for all of the reasons above, thanks for providing us with great service and amazing food! ~ Hannes K

Przepyszne śniadanie, fajny klimat, przemiła obsługa. Zamówiliśmy dwa burgery (podawane są z chipsami), dwa cappuccino i na deser bardzo smaczne tosty z owocami i miodem. Na końcu dostajemy w gratisie na dowidzenia dwie babeczki. Zapłaciliśmy około 40€, warto było. Polecam miejsce ~ Jordan

Das Frühstück war so frisch und mit Liebe vorbereitet! Die Atmosphäre war total familiär und entspannt! Mein Mann mochte den Kaffe besonders gut. Zum Schluss gab es sogar eine Kleinigkeit als Nachtisch vom Inhaber! Kann ich wirklich weiterempfehlen. Vor der Tür gibt es auch Parkplätze ~ Bedia B
